Insurance
Health insurance can be a tool to help cover the costs of therapy. Through Aslan Institute, I am currently in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield (BCBS). Otherwise, I am considered an out-of-network (OON) provider. This means that I do not have contracts with any other health insurance company and cannot bill them directly.
However, some insurance companies will still fully or partially reimburse for services provided by out-of-network providers!
I would encourage you to contact your insurance provider and ask them, "What are my out-of-network benefits for mental healthcare services?" to get an idea of what your costs may be. Once you reach your OON deductible for the year, you may be able to receive significant reimbursement for our therapy sessions.
Insurance can be a headache to navigate. if you have any questions about using insurance to help pay for therapy services, please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to help!
